About NWGYFL

The Northwest Georgia Youth Football League was originally founded in 1975 as North Georgia Midget Football League. Currently with over 18 individual organizations and over 100 teams, NWGYFL is one of the largest youth football organizations in the State of Georgia. NWGYFL is considered the premier choice for youth football within the states of Georgia and Tennessee, providing a highly competitive and educational experience for all of our athletes, families, fans and volunteers.

We provide youth tackle football and sideline cheerleading for ages 5-12. Our D1 program consists of single age groups, designed for players that are ready to compete at a high skill level. Our age groups are unlimited weight with a birthday cut off of July 1. 

NWGYFL is has recently joined forces to become a charter to American Youth Football and Cheer to provide our teams an opportunity to compete on a National level.
